The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, in cooperation with the Warith Fund, affiliated with the Warith International Foundation for Cancer Treatment, organised an introductory workshop outlining the Fund’s operating mechanism and the services it provides in offering free medical treatment to children with cancer up to the age of 15 years.
The workshop highlighted the medical and humanitarian efforts devoted to supporting affected cases, with particular emphasis on the importance of community solidarity in caring for children with cancer and reducing the burden on their families. It also introduced the procedures through which beneficiaries may access the Fund’s services.
This event forms part of efforts to strengthen humanitarian and health awareness within the university community, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, through supporting healthcare for the most vulnerable groups. It also supports Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals by reinforcing the values of partnership and humanitarian cooperation. The workshop witnessed positive engagement from attendees, reflecting growing interest in health and charitable initiatives that contribute to supporting children affected by cancer and improving their quality of life.
